Castell Heights Golf Club was established in 1982 as a nine hole 'Pay and Play' course.

Situated on Caerphilly mountain, just north of the Welsh capital city of Cardiff and 5 minutes from Junction 32 of the M4 where it meets the A470, Castell Heights sits amongst the rolling hills and woods of the Welsh countryside, not far from the fairy tale castle of Castel Coch.
Affiliation to the Golf Union of Wales means Castell Heights can offer members all the benefits that such   an affiliation can bring - including the authorisation to issue affiliated handicap certificates allowing members to play at courses worldwide.

Our golf complex includes:

  • Mountain Lakes - A challenging 18 hole Golf Course.

  • Castell Heights - The 9 hole 'Pay and Play' Course.

  • The fully licensed Lounge and Bar complete with hot
        and cold catering facilities.

  • The Function Suite - The club has large and small
        self contained function rooms.

  • A Golf Shop stocking a wide range of golfing
        products.

    All adult categories of membership have use of the social facilities at the club, including a bar and lounge for the use of members, their guests and visitors.

    If you just want to play then neither membership or a handicap is required at Castell Heights Golf Club - Just arrive and you can pay and then play.  It is advisable however to check Tee time availability beforehand by telephoning us on 02920 886666.

    Castell Heights Golf Club welcomes visiting golfers, golfing groups and golf societies.
